Barefoot and Running
Score: 5/5 Bookmarks
Thank you to the author, Morgan Liphart, for gifting me a review copy of Barefoot and Running. I decided I needed a physical copy for myself because I enjoyed it so much.
Colorado is in my blood too. I wasn't born there but it calls out to me like a home I didn't realize I was yearning for. The author's poem titled Part II: Arriving spoke to me immediately and I felt seen and understood.
I felt craving, desire, nostalgia, and also a sense of peace throughout these poems, and each one of them moved me in a different way. Each word is crafted so carefully and paints such a vivid picture you’ll be able to see yourself there, and feel those same feelings.
If you enjoy poetry, I highly recommend you grab a copy of this sweet collection.
