Thrills & Chills
If it’s thrilling, chilling, or has a heaping helping of murder, suspense, mystery, or creepiness you can bet I’ll be reading it in October. Nothing gets me in the mood for Halloween like a spooktacular reading list. And with the weather turning chilly it’s the perfect excuse to curl up by the fireplace with a stack of books and a cup of cocoa.
So if you’re looking for something to get you in the spooky spirit, take a look at these books.
The Widow of Pale Harbor just came out and it’s the perfect mix of mystery, history, witchcraft and romance to read this month. If you want something that will really make your spine tingle and your skin crawl, grab yourself a copy of The Whisper Man. And if detective mysteries are more your thing, Cuckoo’s Calling and The Silkworm (both by Robert Galbraith aka J.K. Rowling) are two of my all-time favorite books!
